In-School Field Trips
In School field trips are an essential part of the learning experience at Jamon Montessori Day School. We believe that meaningful education extends beyond the classroom, providing children with opportunities to explore, discover and connect their learning to the world around them.
Our carefully planned in-school field trips enrich our curriculum by offering hands-on cultural, scientific and educational experiences. They also introduce students and families to the many exceptional museums, historical landmarks, parks, culture and community resources throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and beyond.
Students enjoy a in-school field trip, giving them regular opportunities to learn through real-world experiences. These on-site enrichment experiences provide engaging, hands-on learning that complements our Montessori curriculum and deepens students' understanding through exploration, creativity and discovery.
