Field Trips are an important part of our learning program. It is our goal to expand the learning that goes beyond the classroom walls. Our field trips are geared to provide extended cultural & science experiences. As well as to expose our students and parents to the wonderful new resources around our nation's capital.  Students participate in a new field trip every month!

Many of our field trip vendors now come to Jamon Montessori Day School to bring enriching field trips to our students on campus.  These on-campus field trips are so enriching and enhance our student's studies.

Past Learning Adventures

The Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian Museums, Glen Echo Park, Washington National Zoo, The Capital Trolly Museum, Toll House Restaurant, Local Fire House, Botanical Gardens, Old Maryland Farm, the Baltimore Aquarium, Martin Luther King Jr. Park, and much more.
